The dress code for the wedding day celebration is black tie preferred. We kindly ask that gentlemen opt for a tuxedo or dark-colored suit and tie/bowtie, and ladies opt for a floor-length gown. Colors and patterns welcome!

Men can wear a casual suit, sport coat, or just a dress shirt—no tie required unless you’d like to dress it up. Women are welcome to wear a cocktail dress (long or short) or dressy separates. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Due to the elevation, Highlands is known for its cool summers. In August, the temperatures average between 76°F and 56°F. Women might consider a a light shawl or wrap for the evening after the sun goes down.

We kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Except for a few children in our immediate family, this is an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding in not bringing additional guests or children.

Highlands, NC is a beautiful mountain town accessible by car. There are several airports within driving distance: Asheville Regional Airport (AVL): Approximately 1.5 hours away by car. Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP): About 2 hours away by car. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): Approximately 3 hours away by car.
